Family Planning Tasmania welcomes enquiries from GP registrars who wish to complete their six-month extended skills placement in our clinics in Burnie, Launceston or Glenorchy.

Placements are typically 1 day a week for 6 months. Intakes are each February and July.

Pre-requisites

• At least GPT3
• Completed or working towards completion of your FPAA Sexual and Reproductive Health Certificate
• Willingness to provide non-directional pregnancy counselling and be involved in the provision of medication terminations.

Please apply by the following dates with a CV and details of two references (ideally one Practice Principal and one Practice Manager, or equivalents):

• 1^st August for February start
• 1^st January for July start
