On Wednesday 26 April, the Education team at Family Planning Tasmania came together for a training day focused on program development and review. The team spent the entire day collaborating, sharing research, and working on new programs.
The Education team is responsible for delivering a range of programs across Tasmania, aimed at promoting sexual and reproductive health education. These programs cover a diverse range of topics, from puberty and sexuality education for young people, to contraceptive options and sexual health for adults. The training day was an opportunity for the team to review our current programs and develop new content. The team shared their experiences and insights, providing valuable feedback to help refine and improve existing programs. They also worked together to develop new programs, drawing on their collective expertise and research.
The day was a great success, with the team achieving their goals of developing and reviewing content. The team was also able to bond and build stronger relationships, working together in a supportive and collaborative environment. The training day provided an opportunity to reflect on the important work that the team does and to share their passion for sexual and reproductive health education.
