LGBTQIA+ cervical screening focus group
Family Planning Tasmania has received a small grant from the Tasmanian Government to establish a self-collected cervical screening service that meets the needs of LGBTQIA+ people and encourages more under-screened community members to get tested.
As part of setting up this service, we’re setting up a focus group to gather input from community members on their experiences and to collect feedback and suggestions that will help shape our service.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in – and you are LGBTQIA+ and have a cervix – we’d love you to join our focus group.
The focus group will be held virtually (Microsoft Teams) on one or more of the following dates (depending on demand):
- Wed 19th April at 11am
- Tue 16th May at 7pm
Please select your preferred date or dates via Doodle here >> or email Clinical Services Manager Jessica Willis.
Each focus group will run for 1 hour and you will receive a gift voucher for $75 to thank you for your time.
Please do share this information with anyone who might be interested in helping us make Family Planning Tasmania’s services more inclusive.
